why would imgur remove it

I believe Imgur deletes images after a while due to the fact that a free image hosting service as big as it is wouldn't be efficient holding millions of images over years and years

I dont know, any image hosting service that doesn't actually run off customer's clients doesn't seem to be too efficient
I looked it up, they do keep their images forever, as far as I can tell.

I swear I had some images on imgur which would recieve a 404 error after a while, which last time I checked this was about 6 months ago.
