Im pretty sure he wants a monitor that isnt a CRT one

Who buys a house before they buy a car

if you buy an rv you've bought both at once.

Thats what i'm saying. You can find decent monitors, as in LCD ones that work well and have good port compatability. People get a fancy new monitor and just leave their old one out for people to take for free. Most people assume because its outside someone's house it's broken, but thats almost never the case. I just wanted to tell you that buying a monitor new isn't always necessary. Honestly I have no idea why I started talking about this, I just assumed you were going to buy one on retail I guess.

unfortunately i live in the borderline countryside and the closest neighborhood is very wealthy and has regulations on exterior appearence, so i assume nobody is allowed to leave their old monitors outside

go to a goodwill
theres no way where you live doesn't have at least one

Cars

Maybe if I felt like treating myself I'd also buy food and a permanent place to sleep

never looked into it, but i could try.
id probabaly rather just buy my own at that rate because im sure other people would need the monitor more than me, if they're looking for one at goodwill. not saying im making big bucks at my job, but i dont have to worry too much about Real World expenses for at least 2 more years

Bills, oh wait I already do that :I

probably a new keyboard

i'm doing piano right now and i really want a place to practice that isn't my living room with a 200 year old off tune grand piano

you guys are all smart -- yes, get a gaming rig first, then continuously upgrade it.

it was my best option, and I do not regret anything at all. Hell, I even re downloaded blockland to put soft shaders on at max  :^)
