Why don't you feel capable of debating against a quote? I think most users do. I quoted a man who spoke my point better than I could--after all, that is a primary reason we quote people. If you can't state why you agree or disagree with something spoken in the past, then I don't think you should be debating here to begin with.
I loving said exactly why I wouldn't debate the quote. I don't believe it's relevant to this situation, and unless you're willing to pull those dorito-covered fingers from your arse and actually prove that it is, I'm going to continue believing that you simply want to puff yourself up to look good and well-versed when really you know forget all.

I don't let other people speak for me. I'm confident in my own knowledge to speak for myself.

Also;

I quoted a man who spoke my point better than I could
"Please put the shotgun in my mouth and pull the trigger for I know not of what I speak." ~ McJob 2016

Using "eloquent language" doesn't mean forgetstuff. Put as much sugar into the sentence as you want; I only care for what meaning and relevance it has to what I'm discussing, and in this case it's minimal.

If you seriously and genuinely did not understand that quote or why it's relevant, explaining it to you might only open more questions.

"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."

It's a message on the recision of freedom. When even one group cannot speak their mind, none of us are free. When censorship only applies to research and videogames, all people bear the weight of those restrictions.

Well look at that. McZealot decided to stop sitting on his towering throne far above the mere mortals of the Blockland Forums and actually gave us a useful response. Thank forget for that.

So you're worried about your freedom to be brown townly raped? Worried about the developer's rights to make some jokes about brown town rape? Are you worried about the crowd of people who have a special interest for brown town rape?

As I said, other developers have since been allowed to release their games uncensored and with far worse content. It's only a matter of time before the Government loosens up and allows for the censored content to be released properly.

Furthermore, if we look into how the Australian Classification Board works...

"It is, however, legal to possess Refused Classification films and games - for people over 18 (except in Western Australia and certain parts of the Northern Territory), unless they contain illegal content (e.g. child research)."

They're blocking the ability to sell content that breaches a bunch of outdated guidelines which are on the way out. You're allowed to say and release whatever you want, excluding explicitly illegal content such as child research, but if you want to make money then you have to get it approved. True "censorship" would involve putting a ban on the content and punishing those found in possession, not just those who who sell.

The ACB doesn't even do the censorship itself or request changes; they simply tell you what fails to meet guidelines and then you're expected to figure out what the course of action is. Some developers, such as the people behind F.E.A.R. 2, have re-submiitted the exact same game without any changes after failing and succeeding in gaining classification.

Yes, because everybody in Australia plays video games and watches research involving hardcore brown town rape.

I almost feel like the best response to these arguments would be to post the quote again. You shouldn't support the legal rights of brown town research producers because you think that one day you might star in brown town research, you should do so because the ability to censor content at the government's whim is a dangerous precedent that can almost exclusively lead to oppression in some form.

No matter how minor the censorship is, the method by which it came about can be used to censor more, and while that precedent is in place, you do not live in a free society.
