Being able to explore with my friends is a lot more fun than exploring by myself

So would every normal person

If you're willing to travel across the entire galaxy at a maximum of 2.5 kiloparsecs between refuels you can probably just use Skype to stream your screen lmfao. You don't need to see a playermodel to explore with your friend in a universe that is the same for everyone (assuming they haven't modded the generation seed). Mad Max would've been better with multiplayer. So would've Shadow of Mordor. Exploring stuff in Fallout 4 would've been better with multiplayer. Being able to explore STALKER open-world in multiplayer would've been cool to. It's actually more logical to put multiplayer in these games than it is to put them in No Man's Sky because they have much smaller game worlds. But it would've also been totally pointless lol.

I've been playing for 80 hours and I have come across 1 system that someone else has been in. They would've been long gone even if I could physically see them. And what would I even do if I did see him? Would we walk around for like 10 minutes and then just forget off? Yeah, sounds like a great feature and reason to implement a bunch of networking bullstuff

aw dang man that was good you win the argument

What? I was legitimately asking if you have friends. Judging by that butthurt response tho I'm guessing no

All games deserve at least 1 year of getting their stuff together.

If by 1 year NMS is no different than it is now then I'll give up any hope for the game.

I was legitimately asking

Do you think I'm handicapped? Judging by the way you've been treating everyone who disagrees with you I guess you probably do

This is actually the most rational thing you've said so far in regards to NMS

Do you think I'm handicapped?
Yeah sometimes

Still waiting for dayz to get its stuff together.
On year like 4 now? Lol

Is it still $60? I want to try it but the most I pay for games is like $20.

dayz is a lost cause

whats funny is I can guarantee within 2-3 months rally and tony are going to drop this game like a god damn rock  and never speak of it again

keep trying to justify your waste of 60 dollars guys, you're doing a great job.

I clocked 57.8 hours last two weeks, so assuming I'm still actively playing for another "2-3 months" I will have clocked between 200-311 hours on it, putting it in my top 5 most played games on steam for the past 6 years

Maybe I will have found the quadrupeds that arent in the game by then

i know i said this earlier but i would like to clarify

i love exploring and, so long as there's at least some level of variety in the planets i explore, i don't care about any of the other aspects.

i am not, however, willing to pay 60 dollars for a game with repetitive exploration, and maybe i wouldnt even be willing to pay that for a game with incredible, varied exploration, because that's p much the only thing this game has going for it. i will admit that i have not watched much gameplay, but i have little to no confidence in the game's worth with that price tag.

Although I haven't played the game, I really, REALLY want to.
the game looks loving fun, and yes i've heard the "o it doesn't have what was promised"
Idfc, the game is possibly the best way I thought it would come out.
yes, it's boring and sometimes tedious, but, if an astronaut landed on Mars, would ty be having fun? forget no, that stuff is a desolate red rock. but still, landing on a NEW loving PLANET WOULD BE GREAT.
