just listened to the new Gambino record, pretty good. I enjoy his obvious George Clinton / Bootsy Collins influence. I will certainly have to revisit it a lot more to let everything soak in but I enjoyed the first impression it gave off, even if some songs felt weak at first (zombies)

Zombies was one of my favorite songs, I thought California was the weakest. That being said this is not a hip hop album in any way so don't be disappointed ppl

same, California is definitely an oddball and I considered skipping it upon first listen but sat through it, other than that I am absolutely in love with this album and is probably the best album release of this year by far.

oh ye it was funny, I got my hands on this album a day prior to release and had to show everyone at my work because they couldn't wait one more day for release, they loved it though so no complaints here.

Well unless something comes out of nowhere like a new Thundercat or Kendrick Lamar album, then I'm pretty confident that this would be the best release of the year.

yeah, definitely a bold claim, but the art direction and literally everything about this album is just so good, except for "California", even though I don't like that song, it's still a good song anyways, which is very odd tbh.

grammy's disappoint again. Views is nominated for AOTY. Out of all the hiphop albums of this year, this was one of the worst. Dont get me wrong I love songs like Feel No Ways, but meh it didnt keep me going as much as Life Of Pablo for example.

Other than that, Chance The Rapper nominated as BNA, I hope he wins that but probably not.

Im still in pain from Macklemore winning AOTY over Good Kid, Mad City. ouch
