except you legally cant make this lol
Anthony said he will not call it Blockland 2

i peg the chances of this happening at 0

Just call it "Stealing someone's idea 2"

good intentions but wrong direction i believe

needs a more clear, fleshed out end goal other than "remake blockland but better"

so do they actually have a running version of this game, or are those screenshots just renderings from blender?

also, i'm just gonna go on record as saying that there's no way that half of the stuff on that trello is completed without borrowing significant amounts of code from badspot

This is what autism looks like.

Oh, this is what group of coders Visolator was talking about in a Steam chat with me.

if it isn't called blockworld then it's auto 0/10

The current game is fully running on Torque3D 3.9. The code was put in source and compiled in the engine. As of now anyway, more will be added later to source. The game code we've made ourselves and we've also split up quite a few things from the default directories to make it look split and unique to the premis of the game. Such as content folders, gamemodes, etc.

At first that was our intention, but there's many more ideas then just "Remake this blah blah and do it better then they did". I'm not going to bother spoiling it, but full modder support, some gamemodes, and a fully fleshed out Sandbox Mode would be nice. To clearly direct on this, I'm just going to say that there are quite a few intentions on our current build of the game. But it's going to take a really long time to keep developing onto them.

i don't like visos involvement in this

also Anthony is notorious for stealing credit and loving over people helping him out

Dear god no. If you're actually going to go through with making an improved version of blockland, make it on a better engine with a scripting language that isn't torquestuff. Torque and all renditions of torque are absolute crap compared to anything modern. Like, TGE was okay for when blockland was made, and Blockland in T3D was literally decided to not be a good idea by badspot and rotondo.

ive already had that conversation with Anthony and he got upset and removed me because I said torque is useless
