Uh, I'm not so sure what everyone is upset about. This looks like a good thing?
They aren't rewarding censorship at all. They are cleaning up their comments sections and getting rid of terrible videos. Youtube definitely needs more oversight--just not the ridiculous copyright-abuse or revenue-cutting kind.
I mean, I do find it a little corporate for my tastes. I personally prefer more egalitarian formats where everyone who isn't a moderator is on the same level. But it definitely isn't a *bad* thing.
