also yeah the multiplayer in civ 5 was dogstuff because it frequently de-synced which caused some turns to take about 50 million hours

it seems like it's stable from what i've seen in singleplayer, hopefully multiplayer will work leagues better than civ v but i haven't looked at any multiplayer gameplay yet

I hope to god the multi is better, I've had so many saves with my friends get glitched to stuff or corrupted.

steam library of your choice, pretty sure it stores whatever it downloads somewhere safe and encrypted (depotcache) so you can't cheat the system
