russian state media released images of the RS-28 sarmat today, known by NATO forces as the satan 2. the hypersonic thermonuclear intercontinental ballistic missile carries 10-16 warheads with yields upwards of 40 megatons apiece -- each nearly the size of the tsar bomba. the satan 2 boasts technology capable of outrunning american missile defense systems and possesses enough power to flatten the state of texas (roughly the size of france, for our european forumers).

remember that this is coming from the russian state media and there's really no solid way to verify the legitimacy of these claims, but still. be aware.
