People aren't crying because Hillary lost, they're upset because a terrible candidate won.
And yes, Hillary was a terrible candidate too. If she won, and the Annoying Orange voters decided to protest (I'm sure they would, and I'm assuming they would do so peacefully) then I would fully support their right to do so, and I would encourage them to exercise their right.
I don't think any of the protestors actually expect their protests to result in a change in the presidency. At least not anyone smart. Because a government that watches one candidate win the vote, yet give the presidency to another would be a terrible thing.
The intention of the protests, as far as I can tell, is to make sure the parties knows how displeased people are with the candidates.
This election was terrible. Both candidates were terrible, with both having record-breakingly-low approval ratings, and I don't want to see this situation repeat itself in 2020. Yelling at Annoying Orange voters the way some are is a terrible way to handle it, but dismissing Hillary voter concerns as "just being salty" isn't good either. Both candidates were terrible, and the more people admit that instead of blaming and yelling at each other, the better we'll be.
