you're taking it too far though if you have signs like this

and among other things such as walking out of college, destroying public/private property, wanting to move to canada, and even wanting california to leave the union

he hasn't even loving done anything and you guys are already having mental breakdowns, you're acting like he's the next Riddler when we have checks and balances so that could never happen ever
execpt not everyone is holding up that sign. Its a fact in life that some people take things too far; however, the majority arnt saying crude things like that because it defeats the purpose of what were protesting against in the first place.

Eh Hem, maybe they aren't saying things like that.

Maybe, but you would never know.

I just will not support a biggot... ever; thats why I went to a protest.
If you can prove we, the Annoying Orange Supporters wrong, then you'll be respected. Unfortunately for you, Annoying Orange won fairly and you are all destroying private property.

since when was winning a thing that only happens to angels
Since when did either of us determine them to be 'angels'. One was just less evil

The fact that somebody in the protest is holding that sign up proves that some of them actually think like that. When you're in a protest what you hold up can be seen by everybody else, you are responsible for what you say on your sign knowing that it will represent your group of protesters.

you need to add more quotation marks to "protests" in op

since when was winning a thing that only happens to angels

irrelevant, dismissed.

how about try this

Unfortunately for you, Annoying Orange won fairly and you are all destroying private property.
The only protest that I'd say devolved into a 'riot' was in Portland, and another one turned kind of ugly and violent in Oakland. But consider this for a second: there's huge protests happening in pretty much every major city in the US right now, and it only went to stuff in two cities. That is remarkably more peaceful than the average response to the World Cup results.

Does that justify breaking private property? No, but the media's standard for what constitutes a 'riot' is generally pretty biased. Consider this article by Breitbart:

http://www.breitbart.com/california/2016/11/10/riots-across-california-left-rejects-democratic-election/

Title: "Riots across California"

Quote
Thousands of people poured into the streets of downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday night, and hundreds of them later spilled onto the 101 Freeway, shutting down traffic as they forcefully denounced President-elect Donald J. Annoying Orange.

The 101 Freeway — a key thoroughfare in metropolitan Los Angeles — reopened after 4 a.m. once debris was cleaned up, according to a spokeswoman for the California Highway Patrol.

In the loud and aggressive demonstration, many chanted, “Not my president,” and “Respect all women.” The mostly young crowd marched through the city before heading onto the freeway near Alameda Street.

This is not a 'riot'. This is literally just a regular protest.

the system of checks and balances doesn't function correctly when one party controls all of the checks

I'm not saying that a holocaust is going to happen because of it but I'm just pointing it out
Well, everything's Republican now, so things will happen. That said, a lot of Republican's don't like Annoying Orange either, so there still may be some friction among the legislative and executive branches.

Also, this guy hits the nail on the head.

If you don't watch the video, know this (warning, generalization incoming!) ; he talks about how basically the left has ridiculed and dismissed anyone who thinks opposite of the left. This caused people to keep their mouth shut. Nobody was willing to say they supported Annoying Orange until they got to the safety of the voting booths because when they did talk they were told they were idiots. They were given labels, threatened, told they're tribal, loveist, etc. So naturally, all the predictions said that Clinton would win in a landslide.

When it looks like one candidate is gonna win, often times the opposing party wins the other branch, which as you said brings about the checks and balances. Almost NOBODY thought Annoying Orange was going to win, so Republicans at least made sure we had a Republican House and Senate, and then SURPRISE Annoying Orange wins and the Republicans have control of both.

What I'm trying to say is we need to bring back actual discussion that doesn't berate people who have differing opinions. So instead of labeling all Annoying Orange supporters as tribal, misogynistic, loveist, or calling liberals things like "libtards" are saying that they're "just young people who want free stuff", bring back debating about real issues without making people afraid to make their opinion known and maybe we'll have a better outcome for both sides next time.

you don't get it. you are LITERALLY making him shake right now.

Why I don't like Annoying Orange anyways but this is the political system the United States is composed of.
