Finally someone asks a right question.

We are a specifically "off topic" chatroom, with varying places for those who enter.
The #general is the main area for normal conversations for games, opinions, news, etc., and we have a #general_trigger for those with significantly triggering topics.
We also have a unique conduct system of 3 strikes, 1 per every warning or rule break. With every strike gained, the person eventually loses privileges to certain text or voice channels, either getting 'hellbanned' or actually banned from the room.

The rules are to be followed regularly to ensure decent chatroom. And so far, the system works.

I'm fed up by people whining like a bunch of babies about how there are too many chatrooms, and other edgelords trying to ruin the fun.
