Author Topic: How does incest work in a family tree?  (Read 7285 times)

Right we got distracted doing our assignment and were trying to work this out. I looked it up and didn't find a simple explanation, so here's hoping some people in the future find this thread and find a great resource.

Let's use this basic family tree for a family household:

If Child B had love with their Mother and had a child labelled Child D, where would it go in the tree?

i guess it would have to stretch around to connect the lines

i think this happened in caesar's tree, it did a dotted line iirc

it would go below child B and simultaneously be their brother and son

yes

child A forgets mom which creates child c 1/2

ask buzzwacker

I guess you'd have child B underneath and in between the parents and connect Child D to Child B and their mother

why would you have love with your Mother? That's handicapped, OP.

what if she's hot

Put a copy of the mother next to child B and draw a line between them, then draw a line down from the middle of the new line and place child D at the end of it. Done.

Tutankhamen was inbred.

It really explains why he had the health issues he had. Inbreeding is extremely dangerous but I don't really know why.
So don't do it.

Would you still be brothers just because you share a mother, though?

The tree would grow into itself and mutate horribly.

Much like actual incest children.

that's kind of what makes someone a brother, so yes

Would you still be brothers just because you share a mother, though?
would you be your own stepfather
