How the forget did Toxicology, of all people, jump from 8 to 28 votes in the space of about 6 hours during the forums most quiet time? I'd buy it if it was Freek or Seth who are actually well received on these forums, but it sounds to me like a bit of voter fraud going on...

tbh i feel like this is one of those popularity contests, especially given all the mcjob propaganda in the past few pages. "best user" is subjective and doesn't account for people who have contributed to the game or forum through scripts and stuff, or for people who are overall quiet but have a very good character.

mcjob, i appreciate your character and wit and position in the community, but idk if i'd consider that alone as something that deserves the label "best user". you're definitely a user up there somewhere, though.

just my 2 cents. i voted for myself before realizing i probably should vote for who i legitimately feel is best user on the list, which would probably have been jairo or mcjob. if i wasn't restricted to this list, i'd probably have voted for swollow, daniel s, or trogtor for being overall a great person to have in the community. hard to say really.

just more annoying to see yourself a bit behind in a poll like this and see that a buncha guys voted like that instead of who they actually like, because i was legitimately curious where i stand compared to others but all this skews it weirdly so much that it just doesn't even matter anymore

I checked the poll every couple of hours and Toxicology was originally at about 6 votes. Then a good amount of time before McJob shouted it out he jumped to 28 votes.

Yeah, looks like it's either Toxicology making a fraud or someone else providing that sudden vote boost to frame him.

But seriously, this poll gets called rigged and cheated and biased but apparently someone inflates the votes of a person? That's a very schizophrenic turn of events.

After consideration, I think that we should pretend those 28 votes are actually just 8. 20 votes on the same person in a couple of hours way after the re-voting began is just implausible.
