The Dorovian delegation receives the gifts with grace, bowing with respect to the deliverers of such a bounty, and in turn offers up what they brought with them—Six prime oxen, right for the ploughing of fields, and samples of varieties of wood and powder, which first confuses the contacts, but then, upon producing carefully cured meats and fish and a flurry of words, motions and pointing, demonstrates that the varieties of wood and spices presented are prime for smoking and curing meats, the samples of which are left with the men.  The Dorovian delegation also procures a small ceramic container filled with a vibrant red dye, and two barrels of fine mead.

A few in number among the company are linguistic scholars, and they begin to communicate immediately with the Florelan scholars.

The men eye the overweight man suspiciously, as a fleeting grin gives them a bit of worry, but nevertheless allow him to go along.  They remark to each other in their language that they are glad that they have unloaded the oxen first.

Noticing that the sun is setting, they ask for the privilege to stay in their midst for the night, then depart the following morning.

The Florelan host graciously leads their visitors to stay within the Capitol, leading them through and paying for their stay in a fine upper class manor, overlooking the Palace gardens nearby. It even has a pool.

The scholars explain that them, and the overweight man, are exceptionally intrigued with Dorovian culture- the overweight man in fact a renown poet, minstrel, and artist who has dreamed of writing of and painting foreign lands. The scholars wish to learn the language and the land and write up books for study, and help bridge the gap of their languages to better support free trade between the two.

The visitors, however, are guarded. Not just guarding them from those around them, but clearly seeming to make sure that they are kept from causing any disturbances and trouble. The guards are primarily composed of knights errants, in colorful and flamboyant armor.

The delegation is happy to be amidst such a beautiful land, and it is remarked in the scribe's notebook that it would be bad to allow such a good, friendly nation to go unnoticed.  The envoy, relieved to know hat the fat man is not a threat, is relaxed, and welcomes him amongst them.  After staying the night, they leave early in the morning so to bring back a good report.  On the way to the shores, however, they notice that the people are gaunt, and look at the guarded envoy with eyes of longing and hunger, perhaps envy.  They do not scrawl a testimony, nor say a word, but head on to their boats, taking with them all the kind guests and intellectuals who are to come with them.  Upon leaving, the delegation remarks that it will send more scholars, scribes, and intellectuals to come.

They depart, heading back home.

Florela disbands their eastern platoon once the eastern area is annexed. Preparations for required food, population etc for moving settlers over to construct a citizen are underway, once they have all the required supplies and won't starve out their people.

THis waiting is partly due to the young King of Florela not wanting a hungry hoard of peasants at his doors.

Dorovan checks on Florela to see if it is not starving and is satisfied to see that they are not.

Dorovan to grow population in Tassef.

1st to fast-move to territory to west, claim, and return to Tassef to garrison.

A somewhat large group Dorovian scholars arrive at Tebron.  A diplomat also accompanies them, carrying a letter from Santen I of Dorovan.

Expeditionary boats arrive at Nieuwehaven's shores, and attempt to make contact with the locals.

A messenger from eastern Dorovan arrives on the western shores of Igërastel carrying several copies of a letter authored and signed by a number of the landed nobility on the other side of the river, addressed to the local government of the region, or whatever federal government oversees the region.  It's contents propose that a bridge might be built between us across the river, equally funded by each party.
