Author Topic: [APOCALYPSE] Woman in nevada killed by antibiotic-resistant superbug  (Read 4922 times)

I got an antibiotic-resistant bug (not quite superbug but kind of) back in the summer of 2016 and I was sick for two months straight. I lost 20 pounds and got really unhealthy for awhile there, it isn't fun at all whatsoever.
Watch as Ike becomes the cure for this thing.

I would start buying rations and preparing if i were you.
someone's being a teeny bit too dramatic

Lol I live in the same city where the woman lived, its not a big deal.

cautious
the reality is fear mongering disease is not really necessary other than to tell people to watch their habits when it comes to cleanliness

dont overlook the fact that every person who has had ebola in the states was cured due to the massive amount of attention they got from the medical community. you can bet your life that the same kind of response would be made against any kind of excessively resistant disease like this bacteria, if the medical community deems it a major hazard

their entire job is to worry about this stuff, and unless they are telling you to worry i would just stay cautious but nothing more.

there's treatment for ebola because he have antibiotics that can help when you operate on ebola patients. if your antibiotics are useless than all modern medicine is useless. it should be a big scare because it's a huge threat that can exponentially increase in size thanks to our overpopulation problem

PATIENT ZERO

NGL If I caught it again, it would probably kill me.

Antibiotic resistance is one of the biggest up-and-coming problems for humanity, but this case probably isn't the start of the apocalypse.

For one, the woman who died was 70+ years old, lived in India, and had health problems. She was probably immunocompromised, which might be why she died after antibiotics failed. All of you, on the other hand, are spry young teenagers who are less likely to die from a bacterial infection, antibiotics or not.

Stories like these are really bad news for hospitals, but I doubt there's cause to buy a fallout shelter right now. Unless, like, you want to, or something.
