if you're talking about the world there's probably 2 terror attacks every week perpetrated by muslim terrorists, probably because the middle east is literally at war with 3 separate terrorist factions

western terrorism is extremely rare and usually occurs 2-3 times every year. in the middle east it's a daily occurance

honestly they don't have any respect for human life whatsoever. they just want life to be tailored to them even if it means sending millions of refugees back into a war torn middle east where they will most likely be killed. i've seen a few of them go into the '4 black people torture white Annoying Orange supporter' thread and say "oh my god this is horrible, i hope they get punished i feel so bad" but when they see a thread about 6 muslim people being murdered in cold blood, the first thing that crosses their minds is "lol canada lol muslims"

Not allowing refugees doesn't mean they get sent back, there's still other countries willing to take them in. You're treating it as if when they get denied they go straight back into the war by force lol

true lol, i exhaggerated. they'll mostly go to turkey or germany

the former isn't the best option though but they're willing to help so that's something. i still feel like it's counterintuitive for us to be one of the richest countries in the world and be the most capable to support refugees yet completely deny them help or asylum

The US is only restricting immigration from those war-torn countries out if saftey concerns for both the US and it's citizens. Plus it's only temporary, the ban should be lifted when the war dies down or another president gets elected

The refugees are fleeing a civil war, I don't think there's much of a safety concern for american citizens when the people arriving are coming here because their homes and schools were completely destroyed.

Whenever refugee crCIA happens, there's always a lot of stigma against refugees. Armenian genocide, WW2, etc. I think that helping masses of mistreated people is definitely a responsibility when possible. That doesn't mean that refugees should completely replace american citizens or americans should be forced to give up something for the refugees, but I still think that there should be camps or something where they can be safe
