Gotta be honest, you seem to have forgotten the planet-sized middle ground between being a whiny social justice warrior and being a huge, irredeemable cunt. Yes, they're "Just words"... If you go out calling people a monday, you're an starfish. If you're being condescending to people because of their skin color, you're an starfish. It is definitely hypocritical to throw out racial slurs ironically like it's going out of style and then act like you're doubly offended by the "Dear White People" series.

is any one of us actually being tribal when we combine into an anti-PC circlejerk and shout "he dindu nuffin' he was just a yun' brother lookin' fo'..." etc. etc.
This may come as a shock but using extremely tribal language and propagating racial stereotypes is indeed tribal!!

^^ fr, i mean you cant really be taken seriously for being mad at someone being tribal if youre using racial slurs on the daily lmao

I'm more pissed that this would never fly if it was "Dear Black People" than the actual contents

In case you were wondering, it's pretty well not flying.

Because it's tribal I imagine. You can't make a show called Dear Black People and point out things you don't like in their culture without being called a tribal. Works both ways.
ehh... there are real reasons its more acceptable for african americans to do this sort of thing. i don't personally agree but white people are undeniably better off in this country and are a vast majority, so it's not as harmful for someone to take up a 'sassy' attitude towards them. if a white dude was in china i think it would be okay for him to be like "Dear Asians, please stop doing x".

I don't approve of either, and I personally don't think this looks interesting or funny. I'm just saying why this isn't a perfect equivalence.

This seems to have at least made it to the taxiway. A show called "Dear Black People" would have been shot down as soon as it was pitched for being tribal.

>forget white people

I think it has more to do with you often posting as if this is 4chan. The maymay arrows, phrases, avatar, etc. It's not a huge deal but like....... why

"Oh you used a word I dont like? You must be autistic!"
Lol ok, Ike.

That lingo with that avatar is a bit of a telltale sign....

"Oh you used a word I dont like? You must be autistic!"
Lol ok, Ike.
its not so much offensive as it is. completely embarrassing to see

dont be a nerd

maybe if you stopped jacking off to a picture of betelgeuse for a second you'd have the time to form a coherent argument rather than just saying "Gimon blease Stop" in every thread
Literally what :egg:
