Author Topic: Why do people think it's okay to break rules?  (Read 2959 times)

its always frustrating as the owner/developer seeing your stuff get broken, but people will always find it fun to do that unless there is something more fun to do. RP's arent everyone's cup of tea so its not surprising some got bored and started loving around.

If RP isn't your cup of tea then why play it in the first place?

Breaking the rules out of curiosity?

Breaking the rules out of curiosity?

What Conan is trying to say is that when people get bored, they either leave, or try to make their own fun. Which is to make trouble, since the former option isn't cool to them.

The whole thing is just an excuse to try and dominate people.  The point is to command people to obey you and punish them when they don't.  It's not just incompetence that keeps them from coding - if they actually coded the game mode then they might lose the special interestistic power-play aspect of it.  Their slaves have to be able to disobey so that their obedience means something.
