burnout was hands down one of the best racing game series. i had burnout 2 and takedown and i bought burnout paradise when it came out. paradise kinda sucked but i still played the stuff out of it. these and nfs 1 and 2 are probably in my top 10 favorite games

I never get why EA felt the need to own and make two of their core franchises compete with other; Burnout vs. Need for Speed. It was forgeted.

3: Takedown was alright, but I always preferred Need for Speed for the better car handling, vehicle variety and Hot Pursuit/Most Wanted's pursuit systems (both Be the Cop and being chased).

I absolutely loved Takedown when I first played it and I still do.
Paradise was just pretty okay and wasn't as great as the other games imo.

imo paradise would've been better if the races themselves weren't mostly open-world point-to-point races but instead lapped and/or point-to-point races on a "closed" track like it's been for the previous games
cus i do have fun driving around the city but not so much fun racing in that game

I wish Paradise had more opportunity for drifting, that's all I want to do :(

paradise was practically my childhood
i played that game like no tomorrow, every day i hopped on
until my ps3 forgeted itself and deleted my 100% save file
I had every car except for dlc
i got so sad that day
but now i have it on steam except it wont lemme log in

My favourite Burnout has to be the 3rd, takedown

The soundtrack was the best out of all of them imho and Crash Junctions were the stuff

I played burnout 2 on my xbox but then when I discovered burnout 3...ho boy.

also I played a bit of b paradise, it was ok
