Only 40 light years away! Even if we can only reach light speed, it's still a feasible travel location!

Aren't there plans in the works to design a vessel that can travel at 1/6th the speed of light? I remember hearing about it a while back. If we had one of those, we could get there in a mere 240 years.

lol by the time such a generational vessel reached the planet, they'd probably arrive to find newer FTL ships had already reached it years prior

*need to build faster ships intensifies*

WE NEED TO BUILD AN INTERGALACTIC WALL

the shmargaflarghadingdongs will pay for it

AND THE SPACE MEXICANS WILL PAY FOR IT

let's build a warp drive already

Ikr this is so cool. I read about it yesterday in the newspaper

forgetin amazing how three are both rocky and in the goldilock zone, particularly so close

i want some of whatever TRAPPIST is hustling 👀

Imagine like Star Wars where you see the sun and a planet in the sky.

Hyyyype

Can we just go already?

hoyl stuff pls launch james webb telescope already

even 40 years isn't feasible, we need FTL travel or trans-dimensional/wormhole travel
