Taken on my way to the port.

argentina couldnt get falklands so they're finding new ways to annoy uk

Sealand is the Islas Malvinas of the UK.

Maersk is Danish
seems unlikely. why would they try to make things worse for themselves?

Why would the danes help a platform country northeast of England?

Same reason the US is in Israel. It's a jumping off point to launch their missiles. The Great Anglo-Danish War will come soon.

Wtf is this thread?

Maersk is the largest container ship business on the planet. I saw hundreds of Maersk containers at the Fremantle port yesterday. SeaLand is a Maersk division that operates in South America. Nothing to do with the micronation.

Ironically I have never seen a Maersk container IRL

there are loving stacks of maersk containers near my house

I always see Maersk containers being shipped on trains

It's mostly been nerds since then.

Although there have been some more barbaric people.

Hasn't been any relation for at least 12 generations (since Richard Hubbell came over to Connecticut in the 1600s), but that doesn't stop us stealing their coat of arms. There's no heraldic authority in the U.S, so Garter King of Arms can't do anything about us putting it on mugs.

Pretty badass motto, though. It means "Do not yield to the contrary."

Okay, okay, I'll stop hijacking this thread by bragging about family history.
