Can you relate when a school shooting occurs? Do you always die?
Well this is the thread for you! (this is a serious thread)
The Basics
When the intercom says that there is a lockdown, do what the teacher says. Yes, hiding in the corner wont do stuff, although it'll keep you safe until the shooter is in the building.
Wait until the shooter is inside the building. You will know once you hear a gunshot, and/or screaming. Once this happens, get up.
The best thing to do would to be jump out a window. If your school has 3 stories, and your on the 3rd, dont jump out. If there are more than 1 shooter, they will most likely stay in packs. If you cant or dont want to jump out the window, then see the next paragraph.
Risks
Grab something something you can use as a weapon. Here are a list of things that you can do.
1. If you can pick up chairs, tell everyone to get one and stand guard at the door. Although be really quiet. And this is a really bad risk, but is also better than cowering in the corner.
2. Hide in something like a locker. If you are far away from the shooter and your locker is near, run as fast as possible to it. Open in really fast and hide. Make sure you have your weapon, as when the shooter opens the locker, your ready to attack.
3. Find an emergency exit. Emergency exits are bound to help you escape. If there is one nearby, run for it.
Do's and Dont's
Do's:
Run in a straight line if the shooter isn't near
Run in a zig-zag line if the shooter is near
Keep as quiet as possible
Have a weapon always
Hide if running isn't an option
Dont's:
Listen to the teacher while the shooter is inside the building
Make alot of noise
Attempt to attack the shooter alone
Travel out of the classroom when the shooter is near
Hide in the corner
Conclusion
If you want to survive
Dont mess with the weird white kid.
