being able to see through the gimmick of bluetooth controllers as a "latest innovation"=! i'm too poor to afford it
Let's not even get into the "gimmick" debate; nobody is selling their equipment on the strength of bluetooth alone, that is just a bonus selling point for people who want to use controllers for more than one purpose. This isn't 2005; there's plenty of other features packed into all of the consoles right now that make them solid purchasing options depending on your situation.
The Xbox One is marketed as the ONE central hub for entertainment, hence why it has HDMI inputs to connect other devices through and offers many premium services. You don't need to fork out for an ultra expensive TV with Android built-in when you can get a $400 gaming machine that also handles your TV, online streaming and so on.
The PS4 is "for the players". It's the strongest powered console of this generation (the PS4 Pro, although it will likely be beaten out by the Scorpio), has the largest library of console-exclusives, has a wider suite of share options than the Xbox (especially for streaming content) and can integrate with the Vita and any Sony phone or TV for remote play options (Microsoft's Xbox One supports this was well on any Windows 10/Phone device, but it's not as develop as Sony's offering).
The Nintendo Switch is exactly that; switch between Handheld and TV mode on the fly, with more power than any previous handheld gaming device (meaning that it can support actual, proper ports of AAA games rather than cheap knock-offs like the Vita). It's also pushing the exercise message strong, trying to build a library of games that encourage active movement and play without the need for a screen. It might have a weak library now, but list of games promised for the Switch grows every day, and the current offering doesn't disappoint.
All of these consoles involve a certification process for games, and all of these (ignoring download/install times, which are also apparent on the PC) are designed for plug and play, no setup required. Every one of those consoles is worth the asking price for their target audience. Don't give me your "gimmick" bollocks when you can't even do some basic research on the purpose of these systems.
nice try at the "lol poor people" high horse superiority complex bullstuff, 6/10 might snag some guppies
Sometimes I wonder why I bother arguing with a 14 year old kid when he's going to throw around "witty" remarks like this.
