anyone who dares to set themselves up with the feminist name in these days after it's tarnishing is setting themselves up for trouble
This

Also this.
forget off with this #notall bullstuff. It's far from a minority

Its not hard to see why people don't want to Identify as 'Feminists'.
It's the same reason people usually don't go outside telling people if their a child enthusiast, national socialist, etc.

People don't? News to me. Feminism is still pretty big, despite the controversy. What are you trying to argue?

It is a minority. You're 'real life' experience is an anecdote

It's the same reason people usually don't go outside telling people if their a child enthusiast, national socialist, etc.

these are bad examples that relate to identifying as a feminist or not tbh

It is a minority. You're 'real life' experience is an anecdote

Then why do massive websites like BuzzFeed and most feminist websites (everyday feminism, Salon, Huffington Post, etc.) all appeal to this supposed minority of feminists? You're delusional

There are people who don't want to identify as white because their race has been tarnished by neo national socialists, a small but vocal minority. Is it right to hide your wanting for a good cause because a vocal minority makes it look bad? Is that all that's going to stop you from advocating for gender equality, because Susan down at FeministFrequency acts like a handicap?

Buzzfeed is trash and gains views off of advertisement and sharing schemes on facebook. Salon is also trash/tabloid. Huffington Post doesn't fall into those categories

You're not really proving much here

if you support equality of genders you are literally a feminist
A much better term to use would be Egalitarian. It's a lot more simple and inclusive than the definition for feminism.

Radical feminism is radical. As with every single group of people on this entire planet in the history of mankind, radicals make up a minority of the group but are the most vocal.

I used egalitarian too. They're both identical except for the name and the theoretical means to achieve it. Either way, you need to improve women's rights in order for genders to be equal.

You are living in a fantasy land. It's funny because this supposed "majority" of feminism that you talk about (like Christina Hoff Summers) gets attacked for being too moderate.

I stand corrected, huffington post does fall into those categories. Either way the radical feminists are a vocal minority

g-guys radical feminism is TOTALLY not the majority your all just crazy r-right??

that's why it's called 'radical' ;)

there's no proof on how much of the feminist population is radical or not, so we're both wrong in this case. until there's proof it can't really be argued on
