Terraria megathread (ver. 1.3.5.1)

Look, I know that a previous megathread existed, but it died, I tried to reply to it, but to no avail. So I've decided instead of revival, I'd recreate it, instead.

Terraria is a land of adventure! A land of mystery! A land that's yours to shape, defend, and enjoy. Your options in Terraria are limitless. Are you an action gamer with an itchy trigger finger? A master builder? A collector? An explorer? There's something for everyone.

Start by building basic shelter, then dig for Ore and other resources. Discover and craft up to 300 weapons of magic, ranged, and melee varieties, as well as armor, and use them to battle hundreds of different enemies. Soon you'll be going head-to-head with any of a dozen enormous bosses. Go Fishing, ride a Mount, find Floating Islands, build Houses for helpful NPCs, and much, much more.

Discuss whatever you like here, as long as it's related to terraria.

Also, here's a quick little challenge I've made up a while ago, I call it "The corrupted world challenge"
Step 1: Use the clentaminator to fill the world up with evil of choice all around (crimson or corruption)
Step 2: Add a small radius of purity near the spawn, defend it with sunflowers.
Step 3: Play the whole entire game like usual.
And that's pretty much it.

real talk though this game is really fun

i've beaten the game god knows how many times with my friends
it's exhausting at times but the reward you get is satisfying with new weapons and armor around every turn

with mods becoming a standard like minecraft, who knows what'll start up?
