"Uhhh... Yes! Leave now or be assimilated!" Amanda barks, trying to get the clearly high gentleman to leave.

Norum hears the police shouting into their radios frantically back to dispatch. As his eyes adjust to the particularly dark alleyay, he discovers and exit, and motions to the other two in his company to follow. He slips his jacket back on, slip his flask into his bag, holds his pistol in hand, and makes off down the alleyway's rear.

Ryde spots the alleyway and bolts for it. Once he gets into the alley, he leans behind a wall and awaits for the others to arrive.

Daniel follows Norum and Ryde further into the alleyway, putting his jacket back on as he jogs briskly after the two.

"Uhhh... Yes! Leave now or be assimilated!" Amanda barks, trying to get the clearly high gentleman to leave.

The man is visibly shaken. He freezes for a moment, before finally dropping his stuff and running, tearing open the back door and leaving.

There are several doors in the hall, one of them is labeled 'Office'.

Daniel follows Norum and Ryde further into the alleyway, putting his jacket back on as he jogs briskly after the two.

The three of you escape into the labyrinthine alleyways of Pig Iron, and eventually make your ways back to Hanley.

Norum gets a text from Elena.

"Dan's losing his stuff. I'm not talking to him, I'd advise you give him a call."

Ryde leans out of the alley way, looking down either sides of the street. When Norum's phone buzzes, Ryde instantly darts his head to the origin of the sound, only to find the phone in his pocket going off. He sighs, and keeps looking down the street. "What now, Norum?"

"It's our contact. He'll have to get used to disappointment." Norum says, picking up his phone, checking the screen to see 47 missed calls and 168 texts, the vast majority from Dan. His head reals and he sighs. "Hhhh— oh by the way guys, sorry about the rum thing. I thought we'd have to hide it out."

He places a call to Elena, waits for the instantaneous answer. "Yo, Twitchy's gonna have to get some bad news. I'll give him a call now....." He looks at the street signs just ahead. "..Actually we're not too far off. We're paying him a visit. I'll tell ya about it later." The call stops.

"Alright boys, we're paying this starfish a visit."

Norum signals to the two to follow to the left as he makes a turn to the left at the next street.

After a few blocks following that turn, they arrive at a shabby apartment complex, two outside lights flickering and moths fluttering around them, various plastic bags and other trash puled up in the gutter.

Ryde looks around at the apartment complex's rooms, checking for anyone who is spectating them.

Amanda checks the office door first, looking for any kind of terminal to link to.

Considering Elena has a phone in her head, and the fact the call accepted, you figure she got the message.

Ryde looks around at the apartment complex's rooms, checking for anyone who is spectating them.

You are catching a lot of glances from the people who are out smoking and drinking on their balconies. Some look confused, others look unfriendly.

As you three enter the foyer, there is a small closed office to your left, barred and locked up tight. On your right there is a bench underneath a community board with dozens of papers attached to it. Many are cheap advertisements for awful job openings, stuffty insurance, tax lawyers, custody lawyers, payday lenders, precious metals schemes, drug and alcohol therapy groups, religious advertisements. The papers are torn and those that have strips at the bottom to be taken often have a few missing.

The foyer is bathed in bright white light, there is grime on the off color walls and painted brick faces. The ceiling is low and the carpet is tacky, and if it were not dark already one would have been able to see the stains from years of abuse. The building smells like smoke, along with an unknown but unique odor, likely from the inhabitants of the building wearing it down over decades. You can hear faintly the sound of loud TV's, parties, and crying children.

Norum knows the way to Dan's apartment.

Amanda checks the office door first, looking for any kind of terminal to link to.

There's a computer screen in the office showing views from a handful of security cameras. About half of them are dead. You find a port that will accept the drive Elena's gave you.

"Alright, this way."

Norum walks through the foyer in to a hallway which stretches left to right. He turns left, walking halfway down the length of the hall, turns right into a stairwell, and begins walking up to the second floor.  He then exits the stairwell, turning right, slowing down to read the dingy signs on the doors to his left... 219... 217... 215... "213. We're here."

Norum slams his fist repeatedly against the door, "Hey bitchface, open up the damn door!"

Daniel follows Norum down the hall and to the apartment.  As Norum begins knocking, harshly, on the door, he keeps watch on either side of the hallway, his hands folded over the grip of his pistol, which was tucked into his waistband and under his shirt and jacket.

Ryde also follows Norum down the hall, keeping a close eye behind them through reflective surfaces, or just by turning his head. Once they reach the door, Ryde is startled a little by Norum's loud knocking. He briefly looks to Norum before shifting his glance down the halls to see if there is anything unusual.

Ryde briefly zips down a section of his jacket, quickly shoving his hand in once its open. He then quickly grips the pistol and flicks the safety off. He then tucks his hand back out of his jacket, quickly zipping the jacket back up.

Norum hears Ryde unzip his jacket and flip the safety off and turns to see both behind him armed and ready and holds up a palm in their direction, particularly at Ryde.

He speaks in a hushed voice, "Yo, I know the guy. We're not gonna blow is forgetin' brains out or anything."

Should their contact not open the door, Norum would continue his loud banging on the door.

Ryde nods to Norum, taking a quick few glances to the hallways to his side. He then quickly flicks the safety off his pistol.
