"Tea Hill.  Little tenement owned by the Automated Law Enforcement factory.  Why, you know somethin'?"

"Nothing at all. This would just be where we split, then." Norum says as the group spots the station a block away. "I'm going to South Hanley."

The group disperses. Elena contacts everyone about a week later. The texts read:

"Elena here. Got a lead on something related to a doctor, augment surgeon of some kind that worked out of Sharpton. Can't tell if its the guy. I'm heading down to check it out. I can take four with me in a car. The guy's apparently left already but I'm gonna give the place a run through to see if we can tell if it's our guy. More details for those interested in person. Send me locations so I can get you if you're interested."

She attaches a location in North Sharpton Annex.

The evening is humid and rainy.

Morningstars char (forgot her name and cant look it up now fug) has been in contact Elena regarding looking for a specific doctor. Elena has referred you to a man identified as 'Norum', and you await contact from him.

Daniel shoots a text back.  It reads: "I can ride there myself, if you need five.  Either way, I'm down."

"I'll be away on business." Norum's text to Elena reads.
Another one comes in. "Hey, you got a name for this person?"

Daniel shoots a text back.  It reads: "I can ride there myself, if you need five.  Either way, I'm down."

The response is near instantaneous.

"We could use your expertise,"

"I'll be away on business." Norum's text to Elena reads.
Another one comes in. "Hey, you got a name for this person?"

"Brooklyn Vasco."

Elena sends you updated contact information.

Ryde's eyes flutter open as he hears his phone buzz, and light up. He doesn't even read the text, he just rolls over in his old bed to try to get some sleep. After a few more buzzes, he sighs and nabs his phone from the nightstand. After reading Elena's text, Ryde groggily responds to the text, "Alright, I'll be there.". As soon as he sends the text, he gets out of the bed, walking down the hall of his short apartment to his bathroom to get ready. Once he gets ready, he walks out the door of his dingy apartment to his destination.

"Thanks." Norum replies.

Norum continues walking toward his destination, a bar in the Northern area of Midtown Central. He looks up occasionally to make sure he doesn't run into anyone. Thankfully it's quiet around this time of day. He enters the last of the contct information before sending out a text.

"Hello Brooklyn. This is Norum. Meet me at 5412 E. Rosemary Ave. I'll be at a booth to the left of the entrance wearing a brown hat, with a brown bag to my side."

Upon receiving this second text message, Daniel rolls out of bed, making and absent-minded hand gesture, which would prompt the blinds over his window to open.  He takes a look outside, the soft orange light shining through and just barely illuminating his studio-apartment.  Outside, he takes a look down at the street, which is a bustle with the usual mid-day lunch rush.  He looks out to the greyish-brown river, a trash-filled barge floats south toward the mouth on the coast.
He turns back around to face his nightstand, and reaches for his phone.  The motion activates his alarm clock's HUD, Daniel grimaces at the sudden appearance of the bright white light, and turns back around, tapping away on his phone.  Elena would receive a reply, "When and where?"
He sets his phone back down on the charging pad, and walks to the bathroom, where he begins showering.

Norum arrives at the place, pushing the glass doors open and stepping inside. The bar is usually quiet during the lunch hour, thankfully. Two patrons sit at the back to the right, out of view in a booth, and one patron is sitting alone at the bar with half a pint of light beer and a plate with half a sub sandwich wrapped in butcher paper.

The bartender, who was staring off at a wall notices Norum enter and greets him in Chinese, to which Norum responds in the same language, requesting a cup of coffee indicating that he would like to sit at Table 11, as he turns to the left and approaches the table with a familiar stride.

He sit down at the table on the booth bench facing away from the door and groans while holding his head in his hands before looking up to look around the room, as if for something new.

Brooklyn tries to listen in on the Chinese conversation happening across the room. She hasn't had a reason to speak the language for some time and it shows in her fractured idea of what was being exchanged. Well who knows it could be the guy. She gets up from her booth and looks around while she stretches her arms. Not very inconspicuous given the lack of other patrons.

But it pays off when she sees the brown hat draped on a small man at table 11. She approaches him and gingerl takes a seat at the table, giving her best greeting in almost fluent Chinese.

Ryde keeps going to Elena's address, keeping to the subways.

Norum focuses on on the young lady who just sat down at the table, and froze for a second before shaking his head, blinking a few times and speaking abruptly, "Sorry... Brooklyn, right?", extending an offer for a handshake.

"Yeah it is. Nice to meet you, um, Norum." She clears her throats and shakes Norum's hand. It's pretty bizarre to finally have even a chance at a good lead. She settles visibly in her seat after the greeting. After silently looking over her potential informant she adds, "forgive me if I would like to get to business. We have plenty to discuss here."

Norum clears his throat at the mention of a lead and waits for her to finish. "Not a problem." He responds, before continuing in a more hushed tone. "Just note that our topic here is confidential, that is, between myself, yourself and Elena."

He pauses, swallowing.

The bartender arrives back with his coffee served black. Norum responds to the man in Chinese, thanking him and asking him a question about the coffee with a few words that Brooklyn cannot understand. The man assures him that the coffee is whatever Norum asked and then asks Brooklyn in perfect English. "Can I get you anything, Miss?"
