The only time I was opressed I ignored it like a regular human being like everybody should do instead of making a stuffshow out of it.
edit: Also if you're actually from Belgium you don't have anything to worry about, you were literally the second country in the world to legalize gay marriage. It's viewed as one of the more progressive countries in Europe. Gay pride isn't only about expressing yourself, it's about raising awareness for the struggle for rights in places that are less fortunate than us.
