Why do you gotta be such an starfish? The suffering of children is an issue completely independent from partisan politics and immigration debate. What would your minister/priest/grandma say if she saw you going boo-hoo to kids with mental trauma?
Because the whole "suffering of muh children" thing kind of gets old? It's hard to continue to care about the plight of children halfway across the word when it's being constantly thrown in your face. I mean, I still sympathize, but at this point it's like "eh whatever".
I don't care what my grandmother thinks of my morals. That's... a weird thing to even bring up.
Did you read what i posted or..? They didn't conveniently act comatose, they're legitimately comatose.
I read through enough of what you linked to understand it's a legitimate condition. What I don't understand now is why it seems to be localized in Sweden, and why it's
happening mainly to former-Soviet immigrants, not refugees.
but being passed off as happening to refugees and such and so. More information I'd like to know is why these people are being deported? Because if it's a legitimate reason, then I hardly think Sweden is responsible for their mental well-being, to be entirely honest.
syria? they're from around romania and the balkans. also noticed how i said "that would probably be accepting refugees" it's not like every country in the world allows refugees in, sweden germany austria and france are probably the closest countries that accept refugees, and even then that's seriously far. Sweden probably takes the least amount of time to process immigration, which is why it's a big choice of refugees
It never made sense to me that refugees from halfway across the world are willing to risk life and limb to get to Europe, and Europe opens their star fish for them. Obviously, not every country, but because of the EU, it can't really be helped. There should be some kind of UN policy to have refugees relocated to the nearest stable country instead of having to risk their lives to get to a place tens of thousands of miles away. Obviously that country would be compensated via UN funds, and of course I'm just making conjecture, but yeah. You'd think the real humanitarian crCIA would be enabling all these human traffickers and migrant boats that seem to capsize every over month.
