add only 2 avatar accessories and then don't ever add anymore

I feel the player is too bevelled. Most BL stuff has hard edges, and it would be easier for modders to port stuff over if you keep that aesthetic. Speaking as a modder, I'd like the style to change as little as possible from BL.

you better have my favorite hat in it.
my hat. my blue cool hat. my police looking hat. my gr- alright we get it, its a hat, the hat i wear, it looks cool just add it please
ill do anything

My only issue is that the new model carries over all of the limitations of the old blockhead without any new features for modders. The hands are still static and impossible to pose, the beveling just makes skinning harder than it has to be like pomp said, and the fact arms are added that are just as static means it's even harder for people to add custom animations than it is currently. I'm not saying it's bad but it could use some improvement.

if i hear any more SLANDER about my boy trogs model??? we're gonna have issues pal

completely disagree. static player movement means it's easier for people to make mods. also so none of you forgeters make custom hands for weapons. let's put an end to that once and for all.

you're assuming this game is only going to be played by the current community. also idk what you're talking about with custom hands, if they're already part of the model it's not really custom...

I'd loving love for this to be the next step in the story that is Blockland

Just.

get rid of the hands.

make

them horrific stub things.

you gotta do it

I think he's referring to the floating hands people attach to weapons. They bother me too. All the default animations imply there's an invisible joint that cannot stretch it's distance. People completely ignored that, making the hands sometimes go as far as twice the distance from the shoulder than normal. Example: Recurve Bow.

All I ask, is that you can make decals for more than just the front of the torso.

tbh i disagree with trog; having static arms makes good anims harder and limits the kind of hand/arm anims you can use. for example, the playing cards i was developing wouldnt be possible with a full static arm

Idea: The arms could be split in the middle so the character model can have arms and forearms sorta like that model I've made, so more animation possibilites can be made.
