Ahem! From now on, there will be no loopholes around rules! Do you understand?

Yes, certainly. I agree with this new rule.

No, that's a stupid rule, get rid of it.

tfw you try to ban the romance genre but the romance genre includes james bond, bourne, mission impossible, oceans 11 and other great classics
this is why you ban mystery
there are very few "classics" in that genre compared to others, and as an added bonus, practically no music at all is banned. While all of a sudden all songs about love are all banned under the umbrella of "romance"

mystery is 100% good when done well and 100% stuff when not done well

you aren't taking away my scooby doo

scooby doo is like the one major classic in the mystery genre
my other choice was horror but then you'd be killing off a lot more classics than you would if the mystery genre got banned (lots of great games and movies, not so much music), and on top of that you're killing off a lot of popular youtubers (which may or may not be a bad thing depending on your view)

YOU AREN'T TAKING AWAY MY SCOOBY DOO

scooby doo is regurgitated trash

you can take my dignity, but you can't take scooby doo

aw I thought this was gonna be about music

Fantasy. Everyday. Fantasy is trash.

Horror and Romance. They are both two pointless genres that are just progressively going down the stuffter.

ban romcom.

the average horror movie is almost as bad as the average romcom, but there are some GREAT horror films like The Thing, The Shining, Alien, It Follows, Sinister, It Comes At Night, ect. I can't think of any 'masterpiece' romcoms though Love Actually wasn't bad. I think I'd just ditch romance since horror has too many classics

anyone remember when Buzzfeed tried to claim romcoms are only thought of as bad bc women like then and america hates women

Documentaries are mostly TV, tapes/CDs/videos and sometimes books, but very rarely songs or videogames, and Historical is about real events if it's a biography, or if it's historical fiction can fit into other genres such as the above.

The genres on the list are ones that are universal, in the sense that every sort of fiction can fit into it.
(Western is an exception that wasn't put in; although any sort of fiction can take place in the Wild West it can also be an action Western, adventure, drama etc. or in other words crosses over to other genres easily.)

Remember what I said? You may cross out only one of all the choices. But you've presented an interesting situation - you can cross out one of them, but you will suffer from the other. Which of the two is the worst, then?
