Not really
Yes, even if the next director still gets forgeted over

Author Topic: Star Wars: Episode IX - Director Colin Trevorrow Gets Fired! (Miracle)  (Read 3835 times)

"yeah but i don't think its a good thing for someone to be forcibly fired from their job, unless they like harassed 10 coworkes or had a video leaked of them beating up their child. just being fired because he's a mediocre director is loving stupid because almost all directors are mediocre. even quentin tarantino's average of all movies he made have like a 50 on rotten tomatoes, and he's one of the best directors of all time"

You're already a dumbass if you think most directors are mediocre and you're even more of a dumbass when you judge one of the greatest directors today by their average score on rotten tomatoes. Who the hell even trusts them anymore? If you have an interest in a film, go and make your own opinion on it. Btw, his average is no where near 50.

Also, it is a good idea to fire a director if they're garbage because a garbage director = mostly garbage film while the only reason Disney hired him in the first place was because of how much $$$ Jurassic World made until they saw the terrible reception to The Book of Henry (an awful film) which led to creative differences and firing him. He still has millions of opportunities to do other films so I don't know why you're feeling all triggered about him losing one job.

Watch it be Michael Bay.
before I even read the posts I knew this would happen.

"just want to point out how ironic it is that most of your 'replacement picks for director' have a worse aggregated mean movie score than colin trevorrow..."

That. Doesn't. Mean. stuff.

Might as well call all films with a positive score on RT automatic good films and films with a rotten score an automatic bad film.

This logic would mean that HOME ALONE is a bad film so your logic is already invalid.

it was probably a good decision but once again (Miracle) really makes you sound like a douche at the highest level of douchery

No, it just shows how triggered people like you can easily get. In my opinion, he's a garbage director and I rather not have another terrible Star Wars film.

I just hope Rian Johnson will save Star Wars with Episode 8.

I liked Jurassic World. It's an amusement park full of dinosaurs. What's not to like?
Nothing that any of the characters do make any sense. They made the owner guy kinda eccentric, so I guess they were trying to justify it, but there are so many decisions made in the movie that make you question why anyone would do that. Why do the kids on dinosaur island forget off into the jungle in a restricted area? Why is the emergency plan in case the genetically modified murdersaur escapes to release all the other dinosaurs instead of calling for more help after on-site security fails? Why does it work in the end??

Like, fine, it's a family friendly thriller film about dinosaurs. That's a good formula and the movie still had its moments. But like, you don't have to put the story in the back seat for that to work. It could've been so much better.

You know you can edit quotes when you're composing your post, right? You don't have to post twice in a row like that.

Holy forget shut the forget up

Who's Colin Trever-
known for pieces of garbage such as Jurassic World

Lol that OP suggested the director of those stuffty Resident Evil movies.

I liked Jurassic World. It's an amusement park full of dinosaurs. What's not to like?
misleading movie title for one. first movie was jurassic park and it was a park full of dinos, then we get jurassic world and its not the entire world? 0/10 for false advertisement.
