What would be the optimal amount of cash to carry daily?

I will be visiting Germany soon to tour historical locations and museums but the German election will be on Sunday. Now, should I be worried in the slightest? I'm not at the moment but with the rise of nationalism, I'm expecting there to be protests in the streets following it. I'd really like to hear from some of the European forumers here as, well, nothing beats being local. The sources I've read have all stated it's present and I'm being told people are tired.

we all know what happened the last time germans liked being germans a little too much

you'd probably be fine

i'm sure you'll be fine. also i wouldn't doubt that the anti-nationalist movement in germany will eclipse the nationalist movement.

I don't think germany has that kinda track record...so probably fine

Unless AfD wins like 90% of the seats and everybody starts freaking out you'll be fine

Here in Europe we're not so keen on violent protesting and looting unlike the U S of A so you'll be fine.

the worst thing thatll happen is you might get hit by a bicycle and get yelled at in german
atleast its better than being a kanker toerist

Gang up with commie militias and remind them national socialists the greatness of the motherland.

Gang up with Nationalist militias and remind them cucks and rapeugees of the greatness of Europa and preservation of European culture
Example #1 of something I won't be doing over there, politics.

I have 3 years of German under my belt, but I'll most likely remain silent. The majority of Germans speak English anyway so, language shouldn't be too much of a barrier but just in case, I'll bring my dictionary. Small amount of cash and a very light load in a shoulder bag or something, water and my passport

we all know what happened the last time germans liked being germans a little too much
they made a lot of cool stuff and got their country back together

All the germans that were even mildly threatening were killed in the 40s so all you have left are cowards who wouldn't harm a fly. You'll be fine.

In all seriousness I had a german GF and she said there are quite a few skinheads that gain up and forget with people so make sure you don't look brown I guess.
