Nevada should also just enact some commonsense regulations, since their laws are indeed stupidly lax. Nobody's rights are being infringed on by requiring people to have a permit to carry rifles out in public.

probably not, but that question is clearly insinuating that's the truth

i've been radicalized in heavy weapons too stuff

Probably went into one of those alt-left radicalization camps, right?

given this was a domestic terrorist attack
Do we actually know this, though?

I'm not saying this to contradict you, I'm asking out of legitimate curiosity of knowing more about what happened

I'd also say that fully automatic weapons are already quite difficult and very expensive to legally obtain.

I'm not saying it's enough, but the people saying "machine guns are legal in Nevada!!" and leaving it at that, while they are correct, are omitting federal regulations and making it sound more lax than it really is

according to ABC he didn't have an automatic weapon, he had a semi-automatic he had modified to bump fire. all the weapons he had with him he had legally purchased.
Hmm, I hadn't heard of bump fire before. It looks like it's technically legal, but sounds to me like something that should be illegal

More registration and permit stuff sounds good too. Not going to fix everything, but a start

As of now, there is 1 more dead in the hospital. My prayers are out to the victims of the shootings.

I mean if it wasn't legal would it really make a difference?

Removing from the market the parts needed to do it legally will make it harder, but no it definitely won't get rid of it completely.

This just seems like a loophole around the fully automatic weapons restrictions, which should be closed
