Visually this game is amazing. There are so many details that tickle me. It's like being in one of those lucasfilm art books that take different star wars characters, vehicles, and weapons and detail them in great example. Seems Dice actually put a lot of time and effort into making their next battlefront better than their first. Gameplay wise, it's ok. It's a step up from battlefront but it (still) lacks some core features that were expected upon release, not to mention the abysmal 2 day grind for high level heroes like Vader which calculated would cost you 48 hours of your time. There's also no merit for doing good in battle, as everyone is given around 300-350 credits per game regardless of player performance. Ironic considering EA pushed the whole "DO WELL AND YOU WILL BE REWARDED" fiasco on reddit.
But we can't be mad at how the game was designed because it's blatantly obvious that EA had a direct creative influence that would build the game around marketing and microtransactions. Dice isn't the issue here, the head honcho "suits" are. The game was designed for the player to swipe his/her credit card anywhere for convenience sake, and that's revolting.
Ok game, can't recommend. Pick it up when it goes to bargain bin.
