EA removed the refund button on their site, and you have to call them which will probably end up unsuccessful.

lmao people figured out how to get refund anyways, get forgeted EA

EA better give their customer service employees a raise with all the bullstuff they're going to have to go through in the coming weeks

is the game even fun? people so concerned about some unlockable bullstuff, they are missing the point.
and its not really pay2win if its not an advantage or anything. a character is a character... just play the game.

the sales strategy isnt about helping noobs keep up, its about making early money while they can because statistically, most of the people who bought the game will stop playing it within 2-3 weeks anyway.

I played the last battlefront game. It's not fun. As far as I'm concerned a Battlefront game hasn't come out since 2005.
Also, playing as Darth Vader is certainly an advantage over playing as a normal storm-trooper. The heroes are always way more powerful that normal units.

You're exactly the kind of idiot I thought would fall for clickbait.

i swear to forget OP if you leave "crategate" in the title im going to kick you ass. you can't just put -gate at the end of every controversy ever. that's stupid.

watch out you are gonna start blockgate

Visually this game is amazing. There are so many details that tickle me. It's like being in one of those lucasfilm art books that take different star wars characters, vehicles, and weapons and detail them in great example. Seems Dice actually put a lot of time and effort into making their next battlefront better than their first. Gameplay wise, it's ok. It's a step up from battlefront but it (still) lacks some core features that were expected upon release, not to mention the abysmal 2 day grind for high level heroes like Vader which calculated would cost you 48 hours of your time. There's also no merit for doing good in battle, as everyone is given around 300-350 credits per game regardless of player performance. Ironic considering EA pushed the whole "DO WELL AND YOU WILL BE REWARDED" fiasco on reddit.

But we can't be mad at how the game was designed because it's blatantly obvious that EA had a direct creative influence that would build the game around marketing and microtransactions. Dice isn't the issue here, the head honcho "suits" are. The game was designed for the player to swipe his/her credit card anywhere for convenience sake, and that's revolting.

Ok game, can't recommend. Pick it up when it goes to bargain bin.

i like how people protest the game AFTER they preordered it and haven't cancelled. you already gave them your money dumbasses.

Yeah, it seems like the Reddit "no preorders" bandwagon lost a wheel or two

It is a great example of how two sided this whole thing is.
EA is the worst, but i did not see this coming since i preordered this EA game.

Battlefront II is an example of Games-as-a-Service.

When you subscribe to the service, both the subscriber and the provider have qualities and obligations expected of them. A subscriber has the right, even more right than somebody not subscribing, to complain when the service doesn't match the expectations or standards they expected.

It's like saying somebody who is paying for an internet connection which goes through epic slow down every Thursday at 5PM doesn't have the right to complain about it to the provider, who might be at fault and might be in a position to correct it.

I was looking forward to this game but I'm not too beat up that it's a crock of a stuff, just 60 dollars I don't have to spend
