anyone who's ever worn a condom is delusional

...yes? people would be incredibly opposed to the idea of becoming a military dictatorship, so there would be riots and the military would have to pick a side. literally no one is disagreeing with the fact the military would likely pick the side of the civilians and by then the war is already won

at that point it's not even a war, it's just a country's military getting rid of some criminal ex-politicians

"what you actually think you can take on the US army with just your guns, get real"
"wow why are you sending our soldiers to fight those people in mud huts and bombed-out buildings, they're gonna die out there, you don't value our soldiers' lives do you"

anyone who's ever worn a condom is delusional
because childbirth is just as likely as the US military and government going tyrannical, right

i mean we get our oil from private companies too, and they own half of the people working in the white house. Arms Lobbying is a pretty scary thing when our arms budget is 300 billion dollers

the government wastes stuff tons of money on unneccessarily drawn out and expensive projects and programs for gear that we don't really loving need. the f-35 was meant to be a cheaper f-22, but ended up becoming a handicappedly large money sink itself- just as an example. another example is the gas turbine engine of the m1 abrams. there was a more cost-effective diesel engine which the army had picked after doing trials and tests, but congress intervened and selected the turbine. this sort of stuff is prevalent throughout all hardware deals by the US military - the actual military gets forgeted over by corrupt congressmen. there's a reason like 80% of convicted federal ex-politicians are ex-congress

considering how easy it is for systematic buttforgetery to develop amongst governments, I'd say you have to be stupid to not expect some sort of tyrannical event at some point
