I guess he realized everyone lost sympathy for him after getting tired of his stuff so he faked a Self Delete attempt to get some back. If there's one thing worse than someone making fun of Self Delete it's someone who disrespects all of those who didn't get help and made the horrible decision of ending it all just so they can get attention.
