that said, the base game costs $59.99, and half that for each DLC, all of which will be released together with the game

That would be interesting if they did a remaster on February 28th next year, y'know, when the servers shut down? Like "yeah we're shutting it down but LOOK AT THIS stuff!" Regardless, it's still admirable that they had the servers up for so long. I probably played Demon's Souls the least though cause I never owned it along with DS2, just played them at a friend's house. Regardless, I'd love to see either, or all, remastered in the future.

yeah i think this would be the main benefit of a remaster. some upgraded visual clarity and better animation would be sweet but the online stuff being active would actually make it feel more like you're playing the game fresh again
