tbh if game devs actually focused on making AI that isn’t loving handicapped, this would be true

i would absolutely adore some more pve

o ya i kinda forgot i made this thread woops
Timesplitters was the game I spent hours playing because of the single player arcade mode playing with bots. Bots are sometimes more fun to play with because the amount of stuff you can do with them and they can be hilarious at times. The most fun game I've ever played however, with bots, has to be Unreal tournament 2004. My UT2004 is forgetin pushed to the limit with mods and you can download skins to add new characters to the game. Some skins have voice packs which is the fundamental aspect since the voice packs are used for good humor.

I think this video I made above in UT2004 explains why ut2004 is one of the greatest games ever made, just countless hours of fun. I wish more fps games were like that today
MMM YES i have both timesplitters future perfect and ut2004 they're pretty fun C:

timesplitters future perfect
forget yes seth, I got this for the gamecube years ago and I still play it pretty often.

:D heck yeah! i got it pretty late tho (like a year or two ago from eBay or somethin) for the ps2 but i've been having a lotta fun with it!

more games need couch co-op. some my best memories in gaming are split screen games with my brothers or friends. now you almost never have it unless the game is specifically designed to be a party game :/
RIGHT i forgetin hate this stuff
four player games were dope, and plus now we have bigger screens with higher resolution so it'd be way easier to actually see what's going on
now we get two player if we're lucky

you make a lot more money by selling 4 copies of a game and letting people play together rather than letting 4 people play on one copy

you know too much

I'm sorry das but the forces that be hired me to silence you...

you should try out running with rifles. it's a lil top-down shooter with a cartoony style, yet extremely brutal gameplay. the ai will kick your forgetin teeth in since its very easy to get shredded without armor, and the enemy ai is typically better at everything from flanking to using armored advances with tanks and infantry, but it still remains pretty enjoyable for me.

some pretty sweet dlc came out in november that covers the pacific theater of ww2 as well as a hypothetical invasion of mainland japan.
p.s.: oh yeah there's also 32 player PvE and 64 player pvp but nobody plays the pvp

WHY IS SPLITSCREEN SO OBSCURE NOW
triple a games are trying to push graphics to be super realistic and demanding; consoles can barely pump out more than 30 fps for a single player, so try imagining what it would be like for the console to produce two instances of the same game

both at half the resolution though?

both at half the resolution though?
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe runs at 60fps but with 3-4 players it runs at 30, does that help?

ever play binary domain?
http://store.steampowered.com/app/203750/

that is insane fun single/coop against AI. it gets pretty challenging too.

it plays like a survival defense game. there are increasing difficulty rounds where they send waves of enemies. and you got little time between rounds to upgrade or purchase weapons.

Oh, to be serious for a moment, if anyone is looking for a good rts with human vs ai stuff; there is a game called AI War and it's the hardest loving rts I've ever played. It's highly recommended that you play it with other people, so if anyone ever wants to play it, I have all of the DLC and wouldn't mind spending some time chipping away at the AI at some point.
