recently picked up an interest in dead malls
dead malls as in malls that have either:
A - low amounts of visitors
B - no visitors at all/no stores (is basically just for walking around)
C - completely abandoned with no chance of coming back
if you don't know what i'm talking about, have a couple images:

this is rolling acres mall -- really bad one, basically completely abandoned. it's demolished as of now
it's had a really bad history of crime going down. there was the body of someone found behind the mall, someone died trying to get copper wiring from it (electrocution), and even bullet holes were found on the glass in portions of the mall
it's definitely one of the most infamous, but there's lots more
dan bell does a lot of good videos on this stuff, including a video on
rolling acres mallothers include
pittsburgh mills,
k-mart (while not a mall, it's a good video),
and a forgetton of othersalso got a series on dead motels toooverall dead malls look really interesting. the quiet feeling and just looking around at what once was is honestly just something i enjoy. peaceful, too. the more abandoned side of malls on the other hand is also interesting, but not something i'd want to see in person -- a bit too dangerous and likely an easy way to get killed if you're alone
anyone else have an interest in this kind of thing? i don't even really care about the vaporwave aesthetic some people use in videos and such, the age and ruin of some of these places is just something i like for some reason
