I was expecting a loving rust clone. At least if it were a rust clone I'd be able to forget around with a big ass clan.

The problem was that you called it a fortnite clone instead of another battle royale game.
Besides these battle royale game is different than what is proposed, being number one out of 100 isnt the main goal.
Its basically a MMO

Rust has an open world with RPG mechanics.

Basically a multiplayer version of fallout.

Fallout 76 is a open world battle royale with no RPG stuff.
