Author Topic: homebrew, coming soon to a switch near you  (Read 7762 times)

xecuter always tries to make a quick buck off of pirates. they did it on the xbox and other consoles and they're still doing it now.

most normal homebrewers wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole due to a lack of interest in piracy, and the fact that there are several free and much, much cheaper exploits available to be able to load unsigned code

Cubic ninja will always be best entry point

The nintendo switch will be the next PSP.
3ds is already the next psp lmao

explain 5 uses to me for homebrewing
Hmm... I don't agree with something. Let me come up with an arbitrary goal for people so I can just dismiss it later. Rather than coming up with my own argument of course.

The 3DS can't play PSone games, but the PSP can...

actually, it can, using retroarch and one of its many cores
it's not perfect but you said 'play' not 'full 60fps gameplay'

it can run them
it can't play them.

Playable =/= runnable.

it can. i've actually played games on them. they're at a slightly lower FPS, but you can play them.

I've ordered my sx pro. Team Xecuter is legendary in the scene and I know they do good work :)

this post seems bannable

this is pretty exciting for reasons other than piracy, though
running linux on switch is really cool and it means you can play all sorts of steam or emulator games on your switch

so, like, a good portion of your steam library will now be portable

Not sure how team xecuter stuff isn't just for piracy. It has homebrew capabilities aswell and the option of sending the homebrew payload without the need of a computer.
