This is a megathread detailing all of the major new features in this version of SMF. If i'm missing anything, please tell me.

1. Changing how many posts display on each page
The first feature is that you can now change how many posts display on a single page.
in account settings - look and layout

this also means that the pagecount of topics will be drastically different, and pagelossing is no longer really a thing.

2. Browsing your topics and attachments
A really useful new feature is being able to browse all of the topics someone have created, and attachments someone have uploaded.
To do this, go to the normal Show Posts button on someone's profile, and you can select it here:

3. Ignoring people
You can now ignore people's posts by default, without any use of a userscript!

4. More page number links
You can click the ... to bring up more page number links.

5. Avatar upload no longer buggy and automatically resizes images!
The avatar uploading system is now not-stuff, and automatically resizes images that you upload to be below 75x75.

6. Topic Icons
Topics can now have icons! Here are all of the ones you can select from:

7. Buddy System
Similarly to the Blocked system, there's also a Buddy system!

8. "Recent Unread Topics" and "Updated Topics" pages
The "Recent Unread Topics" page displays all of the most recent topics that you haven't read: https://forum.blockland.us/index.php?action=unread
The "Updated Topics" page displays all of the topics that you have posted in, and have unread posts: https://forum.blockland.us/index.php?action=unreadreplies

9. Hide top banner
You can hide the top banner showing your name, avatar and date. If you really wanted to.

Small changes:

rip old BLF banner image and baby

Clicking on an image that was manually resized by the OP allows you to view it at full res.
Signatures no longer show in PMs
The title of the thread doesn't show up every reply anymore.
Ad bot doesn't affect the coloring of each post anymore.
The people on the online list who appeared in italics no longer show up at all in the online list. This includes Badspot.
For some reason you're now unable to edit polls. ;(
There's now a little 'search' box at the top of the page.
Quick edit is gone :(

The post dates no longer show Today or Yesterday

you can also change topic icons

oh and avatar uploading is fixed

You can add topic icons.

i want to point out that if your profile was ever locked up, as in you can no longer edit your avatar and signature,you don't have access to most of these features.

if u click on an image that was resized u can view it in the original size, that's super nice
u can also scale images even more than just 1000
and there's no pagestreching as bigger images will just have a scroll bar
