what do you guys think of rock music?

i feel like rock is a big part of music, but metal, grind core, or anything in the low side of rock makes me want to rip my eyes out. what do you guys think?

I only really like 70 - 80s style rock, like the iconic songs and such, otherwise it's really ehh to me

normal rock in general bores me but I love the underground alternative stuff like indie rock, noise rock, etc.

At this point rock is such a catch all term since it's the music stem of so many genres that it hardly even exists anymore.

To me this is like saying that you love Jazz, but hate rhythm and blues.

I prefer 80s to 90s rock and some 60s stuff. Led Zepplin, AC/DC, the more iconic bands is what i usually listen to.
