You sound as out of touch as a Boomer who thinks everything on the internet is fake "because internet".
i've been on the internet for longer than you and I'm on the internet as part of my job. I can also guarantee I have a hell of a lot more experience working at software companies than you do. I'm a lefty and guess what? Literally all these companies are nothing like you say behind closed doors, they are highly capitalist, mostly made up of republican higher ups. They are playing you like a fiddle.
Republicans have been in power for hundreds of years? What? Besides the fact that there have been Democrats in office, Democrat majority Senate and Congress several times throughout history, the party was only founded 165 years ago. It hasn't existed for "hundreds of years" it's not even 2 hundred years old.
you are actually braindead if you think i was saying "republicans have been in power for centuries". I mean conservatives as a reactionary, anti-progress movement and group of thought, have been the status quo since the american revolution.
And if silicon valley suits gave a damn about money they wouldn't actively be surpressing money making content or be stationed in California. And they sure as forget aren't right leaning let alone conservative or Republican.
What forgetin planet are you living on?
wait wait wait wait wait
are you telling me every single one of these billion dollar companies like google, facebook, twitter are not in the game of
making money?. are you sincerely telling me they have 0 motive to make any money at all and the entire existence of a corporate structure at all is... to own the conservatives? you ask me what planet I'm living on and you respond with saying that these billion dollar empires don't care about money? have you ever been to silicon valley at all? do you know what kind of venture capital funds exist there? do you know the entirety of silicon valley is literally a capitalist hellhole with a sugar coating of socially liberal people?
you know california had a republican governor up until 2011 right? the fact that you bring up a multi-billion dollar company with offices all around the world has their headquarter in california as proof that it's entirely a leftist/socialist/communist paradise is like saying that if you come from new york you
MUST be gay. it has no correlation at all.
Your "proof" was a URL to a stuffty "Fact Check" site that is blatantly left biased.
Why do you entirely dismiss an article because it's written by someone you might disagree with? I read conservative news outlets all the time, the fact that they are conservative doesn't mean they are wrong, but they some time put out really wrong stuff and then it's obvious.
If you literally want to plug your ears and go "BLABLABLA YOUR FACTS ARE LIBERAL BLALALAALA" then go ahead and let me point out a part of the article that makes my point:
"Mr. O’Keefe...first gained notice for secretly videotaping his exchanges with workers for the community organizing group Acorn who appeared to advise him how to avoid prosecution for a variety of unsavory activities like child prostitution."[1]
but
"O’Keefe’s incriminating ACORN video was shown to have been heavily edited—neither he nor Hannah Giles were actually in entrepreneur and prostitute get-up when they spoke to ACORN employees, for example—and no criminal prosecutions of ACORN followed. While not letting ACORN off the hook for showing “terrible judgment” in the video, California’s then-attorney general Jerry Brown noted after an investigation into the tapes and the organization that “sometimes a fuller truth is found on the cutting room floor.”"[2]
NPR's Bob Garfield noted to O'Keefe,
"You lie to get into - the offices. You lie, subsequently, about the lie you told to get into the offices. You edit the entrepreneur shot into the trailer to create the illusion that you were somehow wearing it during your sting. You go on television wearing the same entrepreneur outfit and let interviewers observe, uncorrected, that that’s what you were wearing when you confronted the ACORN employees."

http://www.cjr.org/campaign_desk/okeefe_teaches_media_a_lesson_again.phpSee how I listed the sources? The article has sources! so you can see where the information presented comes from and make a judgement on what was presented to you! Turns out those are factual quotes!!!!! SHOCKER!!!
Are you just gonna dismiss all the evidence like this as just lies? inb4 "a leftist wrote this therefore 0% of it is true"
My point for the nth time is that: James O'Keefe is a liar, he fabricates evidence, he is worse than TMZ and tabloids for fabricating news stories that are equivalent to paparazzi articles about Kayne West. The google videos where edited and cut to intentionally remove context and make the company look bad.
The funding from project veritas comes from various right-wing billionaires who fund it to protect their capital interests. One of such is Donor Trust, an organization that makes donations anonymous so billionaires can fund whatever far right cause they want without public criticism.
For proof, here's the IRS statement for DonorTrust in 2014:

Project Veritas is
very very shady.
And you mean to say that there was sentence mixing in this video? Really? Sentence mixing is damn near impossible to miss. Doing it multiple times in multiple videos sure as hell wouldn't be missed.
And project Veritas had released full unedited videos of conversations before. The whole "nothing burger" conversation was released unedited.
They release unedited video when it was convenient to them or after public backlash.
I'm not saying there is sentence mixing or whatever, I'm saying the context is
very probably highly edited and should be taken as a grain of salt.
