Already did several times in the irl pic thread, I'm not taking more just to satisfy your jungle fever

Keep making excuses for black people who can't elevate themselves, that'll help
capitalism keeps the poor to the floor bootlicker boy """pulling yourself up by the bootstraps""" only works if you're a rich suburban person. ""self made"" people rarely are

Family immigrated here from Grenada, relatively poor stuffty country. Grandpa lifted boxes, grandma cleaned houses to get her, my mom and my aunt enough education to get where they are

Grandma's a cherished employee at a local college, mom's got her master's in nursing, aunt is a minor celebrity in the adventist world while working as a college career counselor

If immigrants can do it there's literally no reason people born into America cant, unless they were born into a society that actively discourages them by convincing them they cant

:^]

oh ok so you're a double bootlicker then since you're actually working class but support people who trample people like your family under foot good job

The same people who will say "not all muslims are like that" or "not all blacks are criminals" are the same people who will say "everyone who says 'its okay to be white' is a neo-national socialist". The hypocrisy is easier to point out than it is to tie your shoe lol
Lol did you not even read what I posted? I explicitly said that I spread around the message myself. Under that interpretation I'd be one of those neo-national socialists.
the problem with this approach is you give power to these people to destroy your entire society with this approach. it costs nothing to them to pick out another part of modern/internet culture to use as a "symbol" for their group. instead of trying to suppress its usage, or calling out others on using it and demanding them to take it down (a la cancel culture), you should spread awareness of its usage as a symbol of that sort and let them know the risk of using it.
I completely agree with this, there is no point in 'cancelling' something because a few bad apples used it. We wouldn't be able to drink water if that was the case. I guess I didn't word my post very well because this was exactly what I was trying to get across. I use the ok hand symbol surprisingly often irl, there are very clear differences between using it to signify "ok" and using it in court after killing 51 innocent people because they are a different race than you. Being aware of this is the key.
Holy forget
It's honestly so strange to me that you're from a family of immigrants yet these are your views. Do they all share similar opinions to you?

none of this has anything to do with capitalism though

this is like saying "we had a black man president therefore racism doesnt exist"

you cant just look at a statistical outlier and conclude that everyone else is lazy

this tells us nothing other than the fact that you're still a coon

we've had a black president which doesn't mean racism doesn't exist

but it doesn't mean black people can't make it in this country. i sincerely believe black people could easily make it in this country. there are successful black business men, black actors, black supreme court judges. did the system hold these people down? the only reason i could imagine blacks not being able to make it in this country is if the majority of blacks had a mindset similar to something like what this man had to endure.

or this man.

or this guy.

why do the black individuals in these videos have the right mindset? apparently you're "whitewashed" if you believe in safe environments. this is the most damning thing to me. its heart breaking to see what these hardworking people had to put up with from their own community. "forget this peace stuff". lol.

^^^ literally all I was saying. Im not calling anyone lazy, I'm saying at the end of the day if you want it, you can get it, so go get it and stop letting society tell you your skin color is an obstacle

I totally understand and agree, but you have to recognise that in our society there is no equality of opportunity in our country, you can't discount the fact that black people that have parents/grandparents that where affected by jim crow/slavery still have it stuffty to start off with today

they have stufftier school, stufftier parents, more poverty, this doesn't discount the fact that there are many successful black people.

you cant just ignore the fact that these people literally dont have an equal starting point and go "welp thats just life, just deal with it"

again, i never said black people cant make it, im just saying considering their starting position, they are a statistical anomaly

That's a class issue, not a race one, plenty of whites, asians, and mexicans just as poor as these black people so that's a moot point as far as Im concerned

Jim Crow's not stopping any of these people today, so that's a bullstuff line people like you feed black people to make them feel better about underachieving

this tells us nothing other than the fact that you're still a coon

Complains about me using the word monday

Calls me a coon, which is also a racial slur but it's okay because forget black people that don't agree with you

wait you dont think a persons parent that literally couldnt get a loan or a house, or proper education in the 1960's doesnt affect a black child today? you have to be delusional to think this. Poverty is largely a hereditary phenomenon and it's widely studied. There is overwhelming evidence that people are still impacted by redlining today because of generational wealth.

you are insanely misinformed if you think people are not impacted by those policies.

for the record, i was the one that complained not him lol, and i dont think hes on my side at all

According to a psyche class I took a lot of racism stems from what minorities learn when they're young, and they use it as an excuse for them preforming poorly in society in the future.
