if capital is too eggheaded since its pretty much just a study read his wage labour and capital. pretty much a pamphlet summary of the ideals and the premise without the bullstuff you'll forget

I'm starting to think MM is pulling the most dedicated troll since like late 2010s Lord Tony or something
Cant wait to see where this goes. Hope its true and it makes the chronology.

I understand to those who weren't paying attention this might seem like a total sudden 180.

But this course correction came months to even a year before the 2020 election. I was just so into the belief that Annoying Orange would save us that I didn't accept every one of my political policy positions had shifted over that time period.

When he lost, and his most devoted supporters rioted at the capital, it kinda broke for me.

Annoying Orange supporters like to push as the main reason why "communists" and "socialists" come to be is that they don't #WorkARealJob

After months of wasted effort in trying to get an internship or anything related to my actual college degree. Which I've been told time and again would be a "money maker". All I was rewarded with was dead air, radio silence. Nothing. My hand was forced and I had to get a Job some how. That job ended up being a fast food job. And I still had to basically fight tooth and nail even to get the damn job.

This job and the process to get it taught me more then anything that Meritocracy is Dead, and the only way anything changes is if the rich are made to make them change.

Annoying Orange was never going to make the difference, Biden won't either.

It will take a new political party to fix these issues that have been caused by ignorant boomers being pawns to capitalist scumbags.

That's pretty much what I've thought since he pulled a 180 in the space of a week from "BUILD THE WALL" to "Maybe adopt Chinese policies America UwU.". I'm convinced he literally just got bored of being a conservative extremist and just decided to go the other direction for the sake of keeping things fresh.

I was outwardly Annoying Orange until it became apparent he was never going to make the changes I'd hoped he would cause.

It may have seemed sudden here, but it certainly was a tough internal decision for me. It took a lot of life coming at me fast before it finally struck a chord and made me realize the truth.

I doubt his most devoted supporters would riot the capital without every other person carrying a firearm. Only freshly recruited extremist and liberal are like that. Not to mention planned riots.

I agree with you that president cant save anyone. However I dont think any new party will receive support unless it is the predecessor of one of the existing two, and if it is from one of the existing two it wont be any different.

Its all game with political parties to divide us. The agenda forwards regardless of left or right. Divide and conquer. We are divided.

And I get none of these beliefs are popular, however I haven't found fault with them yet.
Sorry to hear about your financial situation, these last years have been chaotic.

Best wishes- Soldier101@

My thoughts exactly.

Also this.

Why No Buy Friday is a great form of protest.
Yesterday was the 3'rd No Buy Friday. I like this idea it's simple, peaceful, team building, unites us, anyone can do, and has minimal sacrifice.

It's peaceful, no one gets harmed. Most likely you will postpone your purchases. There is no intent of harm. Any ideas that inflicts damage requires too much sacrifice, and many people will have fear such as losing their job, losing their home. This is just chill on friday. At first you will probably sacrifice being with your friends as they will want to go out and spend money, but once they join in, you and your friends can just go to the park & chill.
Due to above point this has potential to build additional trust with your friends, as it's also a team building exercise.
It gives a light signal to corporations that something is up and we are working together.
It is something that everyone can do no matter the income level.
The sacrifice is very minimal, and there is no risk of anyone losing their jobs over this. Just shift changes in jobs to avoid Friday. Which I hope will have a trickle effect into normalizing a 3-day weekend. I don't know how far it will go, at minimum this protest will accomplish us gaining trust with each other.
Builds a community that wants change. Right now there is a clear problem and we can't agree on how to protest, or what issues to protest for. This is a baby step that creates a rhythm, creates trust and belief that we can accomplish something together.
You don't have to go anywhere. I recommend enjoying your day with free activities like park, playing games, you can just stay home.
Disability friendly, and accessible due to above point. Anyone can join this protest.
If you see on the news that this isn't working, the fact that it's on the news means this protest is working. Anything that harms corporates will have a storm of FUD campaigns dismantling the organization. If such a thing happens that means a simple day like this is harmful more than we understand and we should definitely continue protesting like so. The media keeps telling us we can't work together cause it doesn't work. Well, it doesn't work cause first of the enemy is telling us it doesn't and we believe them. It's a self fulfilling prophecy. And secondly corporates put huge effort in dividing us for anything even if it's useless and I suspect they will try for this protest too. By growing weekly every friday, we grow our trust, our beliefs, and we unite on the simple fact that we want change. This thing alone will scare corporates.

Any form of strike requires huge amount of coordination, requires supporting each other, neighbors, strangers and more. No buy Friday is weekly and the coordination is adhoc, doesn't require a central entity, just your belief, which will make it hard to infiltrate. The protest itself is not perfect, it's not entirely my idea, I have seen discussions on this sub antiwork about doing different forms of picking a day and not buying anything. I want change, I'm frustrated, I want something, and this protest is the simplest, easiest to achieve. At minimum we will achieve uniting together on a massive scale. Unity alone will scare corporates as they have been fighting against it, and trying very hard to divide us.

Apes together strong!

Basically 3 day weekends should be the norm. And this could do it.
Don't buy anything on fridays. Nothint at all. Just vibe.

lets all promise to not buy any GPUs this friday I will not  buy one i promise it's for the greater good.

Yes I am also not buying any gpu’s. trust me.

Also what does not buy Friday accomplish if we buy thing’s Saturday and Sunday?
And either way, how will it accomplish a 3 day weekend.

Sundays and Saturdays are already recognized as weekends.

Various states force pay to be more on those days.

Fridays becoming unprofitable would force businesses to switch to a three day weekend approach.

the teamsters (one of the biggest unions in the US) has internally voted on unionizing amazon

https://www.theverge.com/2021/6/24/22549019/teamsters-amazon-union-nationwide-campaign-resolution

Since teamsters have 1.3 million members in almost every field, this would represent one of the biggest organizations dead set on making amazon as hard to operate as possible without a union.

@MM i'd recommend you looking into the history of general strikes and collective action, it seems up your alley. The teamsters may not have any amazon employees in their ranks but general strikes from suppliers, truck drivers, postmen, city councils etc. may be enough to push amazon to unionize.

This is the same strategies employed in Sweden when Toys'R'Us didn't want to recognize a union:
Quote from: https://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2015/03/18/sweden-retail-unions_n_6888328.html
When Toys “R” Us refused to back down, transport workers stopped deliveries to the stores, warehouse workers wouldn’t handle shipments bound for their stores and bank employees refused to process transactions for the company. They stopped Toys “R” Us from advertising in the local press, and Swedish blue- and white-collar workers’ unions encouraged their 2.5 million members not to shop there.

Word spread, and the strikers’ actions drew support from workers across Europe and the world. An international federation of unions asked its members in 70 countries to boycott the toy retailer.

Short of packing its toys and leaving the country, the billion-dollar corporation had no choice but to acquiesce and agree to terms that are standard in Swedish collective agreements.

United we bargain, divided we beg.

No buy Friday? Mean to tell me y'all go to town and buy supplies more than twice a year??

Thanks. This is good news.
