I guess it's really not, at least directly. However, one could argue that it's political in the sense that the 911 operators were actually respectful and intelligent instead of sending cops to deal with the amended right of free speech. Kudos to the 911 operators on this one, seriously.
I imagine if a cop were to get involved/the operator actually sends a cop to deal with it - things would have the potential to get ugly because that's escalating the situation. Of course, that still depends on who the cop is that shows up, and how the interaction between them goes. The good thing is that the entire situation is easily avoidable when you have competent people in the workforce like in this case.
Just think, all it would have taken is for one of those operators to have been in the mindset of one of those karens who called 911 for this entire thing to have gone differently (most likely for the worse)
People are literally using an EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBER to report A SIGN THEY DISLIKE. In AMERICA you are ALLOWED to have a sign saying WHATEVER THE forget YOU WANT, as long as you are not trespassing private property! It's just beyond absurd!!
